Bijorhca Paris – September 2019
The biannual event took place between 6–9 September at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and brought together the entire jewellery sector with a rich and diverse range of products on offer.
- The Precious Avenue, and the unique dedicated exhibition space Precious Gallery, greeted visitors with fine jewellery and timepieces from the moment they arrived at the show. Launched last year, the Precious Avenue welcomed iconic new brands, such as Les Filles en Or, Fearless Jewelry and Opinion Chronographe.
- Fashion jewellery in the Fashion Area with the allnew “Trends” space. This new trends showcase is a springboard for young designers and international emerging brands looking to get to grips on the French market. Designed by Elizabeth Leriche, the unmissable Fashion Trends lay at the heart of this space and featured 4 key trends: Sunny Craft, Future Ocean, Twist Heritage and Color Graphic.
- L’Atelier featured tools, ranging from the most traditional to the most innovative, as well as finishings, packaging, elements, merchandising and industry services. The show offered a sneak preview of a number of new solutions and innovations addressing challenges in the sector.
- Raw Materials: the fundamental elements required in professional jewellery making were showcased by 46 exhibitors. This is a unique feature of Bijorhca Paris, the only industry show dedicated to every dimension of the jewellery sector.
Besides the major trends identified by the show’s artistic director Elizabeth Leriche, this edition of Bijorhca Paris also saw a strong presence of variable geometry jewellery, ear jewellery, together with several spiritual references in “talisman jewellery”, designed for consumers seeking meaning.
